Cuzzie turned 22 on Saturday. It rained like hell for about 3 hours, but it didn't stop anyone from having a good time. More bday pics coming this week.
The former "professional" finally made an appearance at Cuzzie's bday party. He's holding a pan of homemade mac&cheese that I've had for him in the freezer since June. Since, he finally showed up for a party I'll limit my daily shots at him on the blog. Speaking of this blog, changes are coming.....stay tuned!

Here's a pic of Shannon in the lobby of one of the twin towers. It's still hard to believe that both of those massive buildings are no longer standing. On the day we visited it was very cloudy and the observation deck was closed due to the poor visibility. This pic was taken back in the summer of 1995.

The Monkey even loves Bronco fans. Jay getting himself a monkey hug. Football season starts in about 6 weeks. The Raiders are gonna catch some teams sleeping this year. Their new coach, is committed to bringing them back to excellence. Another prediction....Randy Moss is going to have a great year in New England.

On a side note. I am a dog lover. My dogs gets lots of love and attention from me. The federal government doesn't just throw indictments at anybody. Rot in hell Michael Vick for being part of a dog fighting operation.

Can you find my sista in law in this pic? Yes, my sista in law has friends to drink with. I'm so proud of her! I'll never forget the first time I got her drunk on shots out her in the desert. I had her drinking Italian Surfers on Acid! The ones with Acid have a shot of Jaeger also!

Wii

Ray Ray got a Wii. Bowling on the Wii is a blast. Saturday night I won two straight games and broke the 200 mark on the last game. Larry Luv put up a good fight, but I was on fire and would not be denied. Skittles will be proud to know that Charlizzo is representing in his absence. I also set the lowest Wii fitness age at 24.
Now, only Ray Ray would break out his brace for video game bowling. But hey like the Rock said, "Don't sing it....bring it!" If you don't know, I'll tell you....Ray Ray always brings his A game to any competition!

I'll probably be in trouble for revealing this information, but I'm working on a legal document that'll protect me from any retaliation from her. Here Skittles takes a goofy self portrait with his mom. He's been home for the past two weeks and by Monday he'll be back on his Army base in GA reporting for duty. He might be sent to Iraqi by the end of the year. I won't get into a discussion about how stupid I feel it is to have troops in the middle of a civil war in Iraqi. The All Star game is tonight in SanFrancisco. While watching the homerun derby last night I was thinking about how beautiful and fun that city is.
It was Shannon's first trip there, but she had a blast in the 43 hours that we were there. Speaking of SF, there is a documentary called "The Bridge". It is about people that choose to end their lives by jumping from the Golden Gate bridge.

Found out last week that the Melchman is headed back to the east coast by the end of this month. He'll be working in Northern Jersey and living in NY. I stripped him of the title because he failed to show up at our house a few weeks ago because he was hung over. Well, this past weekend Cuzzie became the new "professional". Uncle Drunkie

Now this guy is a true "professional". Jason, Uncle Drunkie, earned his nickname by puking all over the Baltimore Arena during a rassling event in the early 90's. Ravishing Rick Rude and Big Van Vader were on the card. On the ride down to the arena he was drinking Captain Morgan and cream soda. About 2 hours into the matches, he puked at our seats which were about 20 rows back from the ring. Puked on the way to the bathroom and then puked in a trash can in the hallway after coming out of the bathroom. And then again outside on the walk to the car and again out the window of the car! Zac was with us and was 10 years old! (Be very careful when you leave you kids under my supervision) Now many years later Zac still talks about this night. He says it was his first exposure to public drunkiness and he'll never forget it. This pic of Uncle Drunkie was taken in 98 before we moved to AZ.

Well, it's Wednesday....time for a nice cocktail. Wish Lista's had an establishment out here in the desert. Nice little Southwestern bar/grill in the Fells Point area of Baltimore. The Brewer's Art was a favorite hangout for Shannon and I. Their house beers were the best and I still crave the garlic french fries! Yeah, it was a 30 minute drive, but words cannot fully describe how cool this bar was. Unlike most folks out here in the desert, back in Baltimore we'd drive for a good time.

Benoit and the Naitch back in WCW. Life certainly is strange and you never know what each day will bring. Tomorrow is promised to no one! If you have goals and dreams, I highly suggest that you start now working towards them. Police are investigating what appears to be a double murder-suicide at the home of Chris Benoit in Fayetteville, GA. Chris-40, his wife Nancy -43, and 7 year old son were all found dead in their home. Last night Raw's live Monday night show was canceled and instead there was a three hour tribute to Chris. Cuzzie and I watched the show and we both just couldn't believe that a family was gone.

Drove down to Springfield, VA for this autograph signing by the Naitch. He was WWE Champion and was promoting his match against the Macho Man at Wrestlemania VIII. The line was snaked through the Sprinfield Mall. Waited 90 minutes to get a poster and my license plate autographed. Unlike some people I know, who I won't mention, but you know who you are. The Naitch would not let a hangover stop him from defending his title and partying with the ladies. Yes, he'll never be stripped of his "professional" title. I'd watch Crystle, Ali, Zac, and Samantha(the baby). The other kids had to change the baby's dirty diapers. That was part of my agreement. Even when I was in my early 20's, I hated clubs. Buddha and Lorin. I heard that last Thursday night she was hanging out with the Captain. She tried to drink like the big boys and by the time the night was over, she was passed out, while Buddha and the Captain sat back and laughed. This is Peanut. He moved to Texas with Misty. He's got a little body, but he thinks he's a 90 pound German Shepard.
He's the funniest dog that I've met in a long time. With three cats around I couldn't have a dog this small. I would fear for the dog's life! Lots of new fans signed up for the monkey's fan club this weekend. Sunday was loads of fun and I hope that everyone had a great time.
Surfer guy thought that he was man enough to beat the monkey. Monkey, after some help from Ameila, took him out in no time. He went down faster than Chuck Liddell went down on Saturday.

Yup...I am a man of my word. Back in December I promised to have my head gargoyle(HG) on her post, guarding my pool, keeping the evil spirits away. Last Sunday, HG did an outstanding job on her first day!
Unfortunately, HG is not going to be around forever, so I'm scouting her replacement for the next generation. I think Little D would make an excellent HG. Only time will tell.

Licor 43, thanks to Buddha, is by far my favorite alcohol. It's kinda sweet so I don't drink it all the time. If you'd like a nice after dinner drink, mix it with a splash of cola or cream soda and you've got the perfect desert. Yummy!! A special Mother's Day shout out goes to the mother of my daughter. I've watched the relationship of Crystle and Shannon develop over the years. Shannon was by no means perfect, but then again who is?? I pray that Shannon and Crystle will continue to develop their relationship and if possible make it better. I love both of you dearly and only want the best for both of you.
An extra special mother's day tribute to my Mutha in Law. I am very proud of what you've accomplised in life. My phone has been ringing a lot lately. People are calling me to laugh at the fact that the Yankees started off the season really bad. Harpers Ferry was about a 2 hour drive from where I lived in MD. Nice place to go and forget about the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Don't piss the geese off!!! Shannon and I were feeding them and Shannon was a little to slow with the chow. They didn't like that and they started coming after her. She's lucky she got out of there alive. Next time you see her ask her about it.....funny story.

Friendship

Buddha has a big smile on his face as he meets the Naitch for the first time. Buddha's birthday is May 13. When I met him in college, I never imagined that we started a friendship that would last 20 years. My mom was full of wisdom. One of her sayings was, "Everybody that laughs and grins in your face is not your friend". It took me a long time to figure out the lesson she was teaching, but as I grew older I got it. Another saying from my mom was, "Promises are like pie crusts: easily broken". You will meet very few people in life that are loyal and truly accountable for their actions.

Afternoon Storms

I got an early taste of monsoon season yesterday on my drive home.
With Amelia, my monkey, on board no storm shall stop me. Thanks to Sirius satellite radio I heard a song by POD that I hadn't heard in a while.
The beautiful thing about Arizona storms is that they don't last long. Towards the end of my 23 mile drive the sun was out.

Shannon enjoys her first dip in the pool. It was a little chilly, but pools ain't cheap so we're gonna enjoy the hell out of it.

Happy Birthday to Pictures of You. Yes, today my blog is 1 year old. Most people have cake to celebrate birthdays, but they aren't dysfunctional like myself. I'm having a muffin shot to celebrate. You too can have a muffin shot. Go to the store and get some mini muffins and Jager(or rum). Get a shot glass, regular or a bomber(as pictured), pour a shot of Jager(or rum) in the shot glass, set the muffin upright in the glass and let it soak up the alcohol, then eat the muffin and drink the remaining drops in the shot glass. I know what you're thinking, but don't knock it till you've tried it. It's like rum cake without the mess of baking!

Yeah, it's prom season again. That's me picking up my date on my senior prom, which was 21 years ago. Her name is Tanya. Last time I talked to her in the early 90's she was an elementary school teacher.

Pool and Lexus done

Monday morning they started filling the pool around 10am. By the time I got home it was close to being filled.
I turned to water off around 10pm last night. Pool is now full. Start up will happen before our orientation on Saturday morning.
Gotta give a big shout out to Matt. For years he has talked of owning a Lexus. Unlike a lot of people he's not just a talker. He worked is ass off and made his dream come true. Congrats again Matt, I'm proud of ya.

Here is a pic of my head gargoyle at the Grand Canyon. She's got clothes on so you might not recognize her. Those were her boobs featured last week. That's not a soda can in her hand kids. That is a can of Sparks. Nothing like catching a buzz and looking at a big ass hole in the earth.
That's Jeff behind those HUGE glasses. His mother tries to get him to take a normal picture and he denies her, but he's happy to be photographed in those glasses. Don't try to figure it out...it's just Jeff.

Gone 15 years

Man...hard to believe it has been 15 years since Sam Kinison was killed. I had the priviledge of seeing his extremely funny stand up act in Baltimore about a year before he died. Sam was out of control and was not afraid to make fun of himself. I listen to his comedy CD's still and I still laugh as though I've never heard them. Buddha and I often quote many of his funny lines. RIP Sam!

Weekly Pool Update

These guys worked their asses off.
Thus far I am impressed with Paddock. Only 23 days and they are close to completion.
Our lot is .22 acres. Even with the pool and extra decking, there is still plenty of space. The head gargoyle(HG) has a lot of area to protect.

Prelude road trip

1994 Honda Prelude Si. I used to keep that car sparkling clean. Tim and Brenda, two of my coworkers from Safeway store 1370, bought a cabin up in the mountains of Western Maryland in a town called Deep Creek Lake. Very pretty scenery and fresh clean air. Shannon and I went up on my day off to check the place out and we stayed at this ski resort. I worked 6 nights a week for almost 5 years, but I always made the most of my time away from work.
